Below are the ingredients and recipe for making beef kebabs:
Ingredients:
1. Beef (minced) - 500 grams
2. Chopped onion - 2 (medium size)
3. Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
4. Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
5. Chilli paste - 1 tablespoon (you can add more or less as desired)
6. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
8. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp (optional)
9. Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
10. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
11. Salt - to taste
12. Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp (optional)
13. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
14. Sour curd - 2 tbsp
15. Roasted chickpea powder – 2 tbsp (as binder)
16. Oil – for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Making the mixture:
- Take minced beef in a large bowl and mix it with chopped onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chilli powder and salt.
- Then mix tomato sauce, coriander leaves, sour curd and fried chana powder and mix well.
- Leave the mixture covered for 20-30 minutes, so that the spices mix well with the meat.
2. Forming the kebabs:
- Take small portions from the mixture and make round or flat shapes by hand.
- If you want, you can roll the kebabs into the shik to make shik kebabs, or flatten them into shami kebabs.
3. Kebab Fry:
- Heat enough oil in a fry pan.
- When the oil is hot, add the kebabs slowly.
- Fry on medium heat until each side is well browned and crispy.
4. Serving:
- Serve hot kebabs with sauce or chutney.
