HONEY

 Honey usually contains several vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Although the nutritional ingredients of honey may vary depending on the source and processing of honey, the following components are usually found:


 Vitamin:-

1. Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): 1.5 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

2. Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): 1.5 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

3. Vitamin B1 (Nayasin): 1.12 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

4. Vitamin B1 (Pantothenic Acid): 1.5 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

5. Vitamin B1 (Pyridoxin): 1.12 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

6. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid): 1.5 - 2.5 mg/1 gram


 Minerals:-

1. Calcium: 2 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

2. Iron: 1.5 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

3. Magnesium: 1.2 - 2.5 mg/1 gram

4. Phosphorus: 2 - 1 mg/1 gram

5. Potassium: 12 - 1 mg/1 gram

6. Zinc: 1.22 - 1.5 mg/1 gram

7. Copper: 1.12 - 1.5 mg/1 gram


 Antioxidant:-

Honey contains various types of antioxidants, of which notable:

1. Flavonoid:

For example, catechin, chempferol, quirpsitin, etc.

2. Fenolic acid:

For example, galic acid, cucumber acid etc.

3. Enzyme:

For example, glucose oxidage, which produces hydrogen peroxide and keeps antibacterial properties.


Honey is usually a natural sweet, which contains a mixture of natural sugars, enzymes, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. However, its nutrients and ingredients may vary depending on the type of honey and the production process.
